Aquaria Beach Resort, Calatagan, Batangas

Summer. Ang nag-iisang season sa Pinas. And yes! The summer heat is on! Ika nga sa Batangas, "Ano gang pag-ka-ka-banas!"

I am just lucky enough to be living here in Batangas. Since there are a lot of beaches in our province, there are so many places to choose from. Plus, its just one ride away. 

So my officemate and I did some googling, and found the Aquaria Beach Resort in Calatagan.
We made some inquiries through their e-mail (customerrelations@landco.ph) regarding accommodation and reservation. And here are some details from our exchange of emails:

1. Aquaria Resort is open from 9am-6pm Mondays to Fridays and 8am-8pm every weekend. It is closed every Tuesdays for maintenance.
2. First-come-first-serve basis rule applies. So there’s no need for reservation (except for large events).
3. There is no room accommodation/overnight stay for Aquaria since they operate on day-tour only.
4. You can bring your own food with no extra charge.
5. Food is not allowed in the pool cabanas. Eating is strictly confined to the dining area or the beach.
6. Swimming attire is strictly implemented in the pool area. (nakakatawa `to kase the lifeguards points out those not wearing via megaphone)

And since we brought our own food, we stayed in the beachfront and rented tables and chairs (1 table, 4 chairs = 200Php). There are no cottages in the beach pero there are large shady trees kaya keri na den. Para kang nagpipicnic but at the beach!

I think our visit was just perfect because some says that the beach is not ideal for swimming on low tide kase grassy. Although yes, the bottom was very grassy, but still we are able to take plunge on the water. Just be watchful for small jellyfishes!

And this ends our whole day experience in Aquaria.
Nice resort facilities, exciting beach activities and very accomodating staffs! Super saya and sulit. :) One of the best resorts I’ve been to.
